Here are some other ways you can donate to Prometheus Symphony and become part of our community in our exciting new concert venue. Of course, please consult with your financial planner or tax advisor, as appropriate.
Employer Matching Programs
You can double or triple your contribution! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs for charitable contributions made by their employees. Check with your HR office and ask for a matching gift form.
Donate Your Old Car
We’ll take anything, in any shape! All you need to do is fill out Car Donation form and your car will be picked up. You’ll receive a donation receipt and sales price acknowledgement for vehicles selling for over $500. Our processor Car Donations Services is a licensed Commercial Fundraiser recognized by the California State Attorney General’s Registry of Charitable Trusts since 1990 (www.cardonationservices.com).
Corporate Sponsorship
By supporting our music, our corporate partners demonstrate an inspiring commitment to our community, and they’re vital to our success. If your company offers sponsorships, please let us know! We’d be happy to offer highly visible acknowledgments in our programs, scaled by conribution level comparable to Ads.
IRA/401k Required Minimum Distributions
If you’re at the age that you are required to take withdrawals from your IRA/401k accounts (currently age 73), you can take advantage of a simple way to give and receive tax benefits in return. Rather than donating after-tax dollars, you can give the required distribution amount from your IRA/401k assets to a qualified charitable organization. The charitable rollover is tax-free and is then not included in your adjusted gross income. Contact your financial advisor for more information. Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
Relatively new, this charitable investment account allows you to make tax-deductible contributions (cash, stocks, real estate, or other assets) to support charities and non-profits. You can recommend how much and how often money is granted to Prometheus Symphony and other qualified charities. The contribution is irrevocable and tax-deductible in the year of the donation. In-Kind Goods or Services
We also welcome “in-kind” donations of goods or services; please contact us to determine what’s needed and to ensure acknowledgement of fair market value for tax purposes.
