Eric Hansen, Conductor of the Prometheus Symphony Orchestra ERIC HANSEN, Music Director of The Prometheus Symphony Orchestra, is a frequent guest conductor with professional and educational ensembles. He has conducted the Pacific Symphony, the Berkeley Symphony, the California Symphony, and the Redlands Symphony. In addition, he has conducted premiers with the Oakland Ballet, Composer's, Inc., the Empyrean Ensemble, and the Berkeley Contemporary Chamber Players.

Hansen has conducted the Michigan Opera Theatre, the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, and the Hayward Lyric Opera. Last season, he conducted the Utah All-State Orchestra in the Tabernacle, and was guest conductor at festivals in Baltimore, San Francisco, and Myrtle Beach. This season his guest appearances include conducting the California Symphony Orchestra as well as music festival performances in Anaheim, Dallas, and Knoxville.

Hansen is presently a lecturer on theory and music appreciation at California State University, Hayward, and lecturer in violin at the University of California, Berkeley.
